Social Good Fund Sponsorship Admin Cost
Note, this is separate from the monthly admin cost ($29/month)
Social Good Fund’s standard sponsorship admin costs are recorded throughout the month, after revenues are recorded into the financial system. The costs are a percentage of total receipts (all funds received) for that month. If you have questions, please contact: accounts@socialgoodfund.org
The standard, 8% cost applies to all Model A and International Model C sponsorship agreements, and a 6.5% cost applies to all domestic Model C sponsorship agreements; the exact percent is reflected in your project’s sponsorship agreement with Social Good Fund.
Sponsorship costs for International projects and government grants may vary (up to 20% for government grants) depending on the complexity and oversight required for administering project funds. Note that currently Social Good Fund is not accepting any new government grants.
Project admin cost reduce by 1% for every 500K of revenue during a calendar year. Tiering resets annually. In practice, this is what it look like for a Model A project:
$0 - $500K, 8%
$500K - $1M, 7%
$1M - $1.5M, 6%
The tiering continues to step down each $500K to a minimum of 3%.
This is what the tiers look like for a Model C project:
$0 - $500K, 6.5%
$500K - $1M, 5%
$1M - $1.5M, 4%
above $1.5M, 3%
Please note that projects may incur project-specific admin expenses that fall outside of the sponsorship fee; including but not limited to:
Additional insurance coverage, if needed (e.g., for alcohol liability, automobile or public events, or “high risk” activities)
Legal/attorney fees or advice related specifically to your project, if needed
ADP fees for fixes due to project errors
