Background Checks- CORESCREENING

All projects with staff (volunteers, employees, interns…) working with youth, seniors, and disabled populations must have all adult team members complete a background screening PRIOR to starting program activities.

Please note: youth staff and volunteers who are themselves under 18 do not need to complete a background check.

We utilize a service called CORESCREENING. To submit a request for background check through CORESCREENING, please complete the Background Check Request Form. Please note that the invitation email sent to volunteers will be from Social Good Fund with the subject line, “Social Good Fund Background Questionnaire Notification.”

Once the background check is completed your project account will be billed by Social Good Fund. There is a processing fee starting at $45 per applicant for the criminal background check. The fee may go up depending on the county access fees and the number of registered counties for the person being checked.

If you would like applicants to cover the screening cost, you will need to collect the payment from individuals prior to sending the request for a background check.

• Nationwide Sexual Offender Registry Search

• SSN Death Index

• Social Security & Address Trace

• Office of Foreign Asset Control (Terrorist Watch List)

• Plus* ONE County Criminal Search
