Providing Receipts

Projects must provide a donation receipt and “Thank You” letter directly to their donors. We do not do this for you. If using Fundrazr, donation receipts will automatically be sent out to donors after the donation is complete. Mazlo does not automatically send out donor acknowledgement letters at this time. Letters are automatically prepared, but you will need to go into the Mazlo system to send them. If you are using a different online platform, or receiving hard copy checks, wires, or cash, it is up to you to make sure your donors receive a donation receipt.

Although you can provide a donation receipt to your donors for any amount donated, we require that you provide a donation receipt for any donation $250 or more.

You will need to regularly consult your Sage finance reports to see donations and then can use the donation receipt formarrow-up-right to create receipts. A copy of the receipt will be provided to both the donor/recipient and you as the requester.

Please submit/upload for our records any receipts created outside of the above form, besides those sent via Fundrazr, Mazlo, or another approved platform* here: Donation Receipt Letter Submission Formarrow-up-right. You can submit copies of such donor receipts to Social Good Fund periodically in batch files.

*If you are using another approved donation platform, please confirm donation receipts are automatically sent by the platform for each donation. If this is the case, you do not need to issue manual receipts or upload copies for us.
