Additional Insured
Additional Insured is defined as: “A person or organization that enjoys the benefits of being insured under an insurance policy, in addition to whoever originally purchased the insurance policy.” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Additional_insured)
The General Liability insurance policy for Social Good Fund applies to our project office / rental locations. If you are holding an event at a separate location and the proprietors request to be listed as “additional insured” party, Social Good Fund will issue an additional insured certificate under our GL policy.
To request a certificate of insurance naming a third party as Additional Insured, please use the Event Notification Form on the Member’s Portal.
Conversely, If you are partnering with another organization or entity where that entity’s insurance is primary, Social Good Fund may need to be listed as Additional Insured on their policy, depending on the nature of the activities. Further, if your project rents out/sublets space to other organizations, Social Good Fund will need to be listed as Additional Insured on that organization’s policy as well.
