Employer Matching Donations

If your donor works for a company or organizations with employee donation matching programs, you may be able to receive a matching gift from the donor’s employer. Depending on the platform that the employer uses to process these donations, there may be different procedures to qualify for and receive the funds.

Matching donations we receive from employers may or may not come with identifying information about your project, letting us know that the funds are for your project. You can encourage your donors to let you know if they will be requesting a matching donation (from their employer) so that you can notify Social Good Fund of the donation.

Please tell your donor that their employer’s matching donation will need to be issued to: Social Good Fund. Your Project Name will need to be included in the donation note/comment, or specified as the program. It is CRITICAL that there is identifying information so that we can match donations to your project.

Use the Deposit Notification Form on our Member’s Portal to let us know the money is for your project.
