Eventbrite
Because so many of our projects use Eventbrite, it is worth mentioning specifically. Eventbrite can be convenient to use for ticket sales and event registrations. Eventbrite is no different from any other third party platform in that you are welcome to use it, but you must do two things: 1.You must have all funds go directly into the Social Good Fund bank account, or request a check to be mailed directly to us. 2. You must also make sure to use our Deposit Notification Form and provide us with the date and exact amount of the deposit so that we can find it easily and allocate it to your project. Using the Deposit Notification Form for Eventbrite should not be too onerous because there is typically just one payout when the event closes. Since you will have set up your account with Eventbrite, they will notify you when the payment will be made. As soon as you get that notification, you can fill out the Deposit Notification Form. Please note that we do not get any information from Eventbrite when we receive payments from them via ACH. The amount appears in our bank account as being from Eventbrite, but there is no reference to your project name, or the event title. Remember, if you do not notify us about a deposit, we will not know who the funds are for.
Please notify Social Good Fund if you choose to use other third-party payment platforms to process credit cards, and of any direct deposits for your project account.
