Online Crowdfunding - Using Other 3rd Party Platforms
We are happy to support any crowdfunding platform you choose, however, you must have all funds go directly into the Social Good Fund bank account, or request that checks to be mailed directly to us, otherwise the funds you receive will not be tax-deductible for donors.
PLEASE NOTE: There is often no identifying information in our bank account for direct deposits. If a crowdfunding platform deposits funds directly into our account, you must also make sure to use our Deposit Notification Form and provide us with the date and exact amount of the deposit so that we can find it easily and allocate it to your project. If you do not notify us about a deposit, we will not know who the funds are for.
ALSO NOTE: SGF is not able to control the policies, procedures and requirements of 3rd party companies. From time to time, a platform that was feasible and possible for projects to use becomes impossible to use. This section is included to attempt to provide you with the best information we have regarding some popular platforms and how they can work with our systems. We do our best to keep this information up-to-date, but we cannot always anticipate changes the following platforms may make.
