Fundrazr and Mazlo

Note: As of September 30th, 2025 Social Good Fund is no longer supporting Flipcause for donations, and has partnered with Fundrazr and Mazlo as our preferred platforms for projects to use for online fundraising. The section below as well as other parts of the handbook have been revised to reflect this change and will be updated with more information on those platforms in the coming months.

For most projects, online fundraising is a critical source of revenue. Unlike many fiscal sponsors, Social Good Fund allows you to use any online crowdfunding platform that works for you. However, we have partnerships with two one particular platforms: Fundrazr and Mazlo.

We strongly recommend you use Fundrazr or Mazlo for your online fundraising needs. They offer dedicated campaigns and donation links for your online fundraising activity.

Because Social Good Fund has accounts with these platforms, donations received online through them are securely processed and automatically received by Social Good Fund. The online donations arrive to us already tagged for your project account without any additional effort on your part.

Please DO NOT contact Fundrazr or Mazlo directly to set up an account. This will delay the process as your account will not be automatically linked to ours.

Below is more information about the fees to use these platforms. Please note the fees below pertain specifically to the cost of using these platforms for online donation processing, and are in addition to the SGF administrative cost allocation on all incoming revenue outlined here.

Fundrazr Fees:

Fundrazr allows users to choose from different pricing models, and each project can choose which model you want to use. You can even use different models for different campaigns or change the model in the middle of a campaign. The choices are outlined here. For the “Keep the Most” option, the campaign is set up so that supporters are asked (but not required) to cover the credit card processing (2.9% + 30¢) and platform fee “tip” (5%). In this option, the project will only be responsible at most for the credit card processing fee.

Mazlo Fees:

• Credit card processing: 2.9% +$0.20 for Mastercard/Visa and 3.9% +$0.20 for American Express

• Donors can choose to cover these fees
